UPDATE to Covid-19 Response Plan

As many of you may know, Wayne County Health Department issued an Emergency Public Health Order for all Pre-K-12 Schools in Wayne County. The order is mandating masks for all students, staff, and visitors to schools. The mandate is attached.

As result we will be starting school under our Level 2 Response Plan COVID-19 Protocols. This means all students, staff and visitors are required to wear a mask indoors at school. Students will still have the option of not wearing a mask outdoors at recess and gym. We will continue to use the cafeteria for 1^st-8^th grade lunches, keeping with our 3 feet social distancing. Teachers will work to find many times in the students’ days for mask breaks, including holding class outside on beautiful fall days to come.
