The focus of the Lower School is to make sure that each child is given the necessary tools and support that he or she needs to reach his or her full potential. We aim to teach our students life-long skills that will help them develop a passion for learning. There is a strong foundation in religion, reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. The students also participate in Spanish, art, physical education, computers, and library. Each teacher strives to incorporate technology in his or her daily lessons with the use of Epson/Smart/Promethean boards, iPads, or laptops. Star of the Sea’s mission, which emphasizes respect, responsibility, and service, is evident in every classroom and lesson.
