Hot Lunch Program

Salvatore Scallopini prepares lunch for Our Lady Star of the Sea School.  One entrée is offered daily. Some examples of entrees include pasta, chicken, tacos, and burgers.  All food is prepared at the Salvatore Scallopini restaurant on Mack and served hot to the student at their designated lunch period. Fridays are pizza day provided by Little Ceasars.
Lunch order forms are distributed to parents in advance and cover three to four weeks at a time.  Lunch orders are to be returned to the classroom teacher or the school office by the date specified on the order.  The cost of lunch includes choice of milk or water. A credit will not be given when a student has ordered lunch and is absent from school. 
Milk and water is also available in the cafeteria for $0.35 for students who wish to pack their lunch.  Microwaves are available for students to warm dishes that they have brought from home.  Parents are also reminded that when they send lunches with their children they need to include the necessary plates, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
