Lunch Volunteer Sign Ups

Dear Parents,

We would like to invite those parents who have taken Protecting God's Children and have an active 2021-2022 Background Check and Volunteer Code completed and accepted on file to volunteer for 1st-5th grade lunch and recess duty. As you know this is an important role in keeping our students safe, and following lunch, recess and school protocols. We require that volunteers be masked and check-in at the office. We ask that volunteers keep a safe distance from the students. It is also important that no siblings or other visitors be present during this time. If you have cold or flu like symptoms please remain home and inform the office 24 hours in advance if possible. Mrs. Debby Fisher is lead lunch and recess supervisor as well as other staff members at times. 

The following documents need to be completed and approved prior to volunteering.

• Volunteer Code
• Background Check

• All students have assigned seats
• All students are masked until they begin eating, if they need to leave their seat and after they finish lunch
• Students with hot lunch will be seated and called up by table to get hot lunch
• All students need to ask for permission to leave
• Students may use microwaves
• Adults help with opening items and micro, reminding them stay seated and manners 
• All students have been asked to only get up 1 or 2 times to throw out trash
• Students need to sit faced forward on their bottoms (there is X on their assigned seat)
• 1st/2nd- Adults help clean table
• 3-5th- Students can clean table
• Students will be dismissed by table and led by an adult outside
• At this time students play with own grade
• Manage students fun and safety on playground
• If there is a big issue, see staff member
• All code of conduct "violations" brought to staff member or admin
• Sometimes a simple time out on bench gives a good reset for a student
