Volunteer Documents for the 2025-2026 School Year

All those looking to volunteer for the 2025-2026 school year must have a background check on file and must have taken Protecting God's Children, a requirement from the Archdiocese of Detroit through the Virtus system.

If you plan to volunteer and have not previously completed the training, you must complete either an in-person training course or the online webinar for your initial training.  The initial training is valid for three years after which you must complete the online self-paced refresher training to continue volunteering.

Background checks are valid for two years after which you must resubmit the background check release form.
